An Original 1982 (from the first release of this movie in East Germany) Vintage Theatrical Folded East German "A1" Movie Poster
Khan Asparuh (released in English-speaking countries as "Khan Aszparuh"), the 1981 Ludmil Staikov Bulgarian historical epic (about the creation of the First Bulgarian Kingdom and the first Bulgarian ruler Khan Asparuh.) starring Stoyko Peev (in the title role as Khan Aszparuh), Antony Genov, Vassil Mihajlov, Vania Tzvetkova, and Stefan Getsov. Note that this movie was usually broken into parts when shown without editing (it was 5 1/2 hours long). However, the movie was re-edited down to 95 minutes and released in the U.S. and other countries as 681 - Velichieto na hana (681 AD: The Glory of Khan)
